define human worth and how ppl determine human worth?

im doing a paper on human worth and i was wondering what you all thought of what human worth is and how ppl acheive human worth and if u have read as we are now by may sarton and can link human worth to the story that would be great!!

I tried to look it up on the web, but found nothing. My opinion of what human worth is, is about how I feel about myself and what is most important to me. What is most important to me is how I treat my fellow humans...is it with respect, love, giving, caring...etc. Cause I have to live with myself, and if I look at myself...I have to ask the question...am I really doing the right thing, not because of what society does, but what I do.
