My favorite cat Pinky Nose always follows me, and everytime i sit down he comes on my lap to play! One day a dog was loose out in our field, and i saw him attacking the dog trying to protect me, and i came out to see it, and he ran up to me. I scared the dog away and he had a proud look in his eye so i gave him some love! Another day the dog came back, and i say Pinky Nose up a tree, so i quickly ran to the tree and he jumped to my shoulder and gave me kisses! He seemed to know that i was their to save him and was not scared to fall off the tree. He is gonna turn 1 year old this March 20 and i will hope to have my little angel for a very long time!!!

i've had a lot of pets growing up, bcuz my parents are vets.
my favorite story would be when we first got our poodle puppy, Zoe. She is now 6 yrs. old, and we still have her, but anyway, she's a Toy Poodle, and the day we got went to pick her up, she had been all puffed up and groomed, and she had a little pink bow in her hair. From that moment on we knew she would be a little spoiled princess (which she is). At the time i think i was about 8 yrs. old, and my brother was probably 6, or 7 yrs. old.
After we got her, we took her up to the vet clinic(my mom and dad were the bosses), and she got to run around and play with us, and all the employees. She was soooooo cute!! I'd never seen a puppy with that much energy, she was bouncing off the walls. We thought she would be scared, about going to a new place, but she was happy! That was one of the best days, of mine and her life :)
now she wears clothes, sleeps in our beds, and wears bow, etc........
ahh, memories.........

Well I have a couple.
My favorite pet is my cat , Misfit, She is 5 years old... greatest memory I have is when she came home she was plopped down on my stomach while I was sleeping and she fell asleep under my chin for the rest of the night....

And then my fish.I have this one fish I call Susie Q, and she jumps out of the water constantly..... she just hits the roof and falls back in the water fine and unharmed but she does it all the time and it is quite entertaining to watch

I used to have a female Belgian Malinois that was incredibly motherly. She was spayed at 6 months, but she acted like she always had a litter of puppies somewhere. One day I had her at my friends barn and she was showing me where all of her barn cats had their kittens as we were gathering riding gear, and then we went horseback riding. About halfway into the ride I noticed that my dog was not trailing like she normally does, and I got worried that she had been hurt and turned back. When I got back to the barn, I started freaking out because I couldn't find her. She was normally very obedient, and she wasn't coming even though I was calling her. After about 30 minutes of searching, I finally found her hiding in one corner of the barn. She had stolen about 6 kittens from their mothers and was trying to get them to nurse!!! Evidently she had been paying attention to were the kittens were. It was so cute because she was treating them just like they were her puppies, but they were these little bitty kittens that were being mothered by a 75lb dog that looked like she would tear your leg off if given half a chance.

I went to a farm with some of my class mates and there were lots of dogs, but there was one dog called okie (6 months old)who was born by an oak tree(that's why its name was okie). We went for a long walk and it was so naughty it never went home and when we got home it slept standing up and people thinks its awake but when you look at its eyes its eye lids were closed, the funny thing was it always falls down and the next day our teacher made a song up.

My family had a German Shepherd and a cat that would play together. The cat would lay on his back on the floor and paw at the dog's mouth and the dog would stand over him and playfully bite at the cat's paws.

My husky mix Jack has been socialized to children since he was 3 months old. When he was 9 months we took him with us to a bbq that friends were having, there were MANY babies and toddlers - easily 10. Jack went to drink out of the inflatable kiddie pool and one of the little girls, about 14 months old and NOT steady on her feet stood up next to him and took his tail in two hands. I was watching this, as was the girls mother. He looked at me like "what do I do?" I looked at him like "you behave." So he started to walk away SLOWLY, little girl hanging onto his tail, yanking it, but not letting go. He walked over to her mother (now, these are not people we see often, so he had not seen the girl nor her mother before that day) and laid down SLOWLY, head then butt then girl. The toddler flopped on him, crawled up on his chest, slid down to the ground, and cuddled into his belly (he was now on his side). He let out a BIG sigh and closed his eyes. Her mother looked at him, looked at me, rubbed his head and picked up her daughter who was ready to take a nap. About three seconds after she was in her mothers arms, to took off like greased lightening, bolted over to me (around all the people) and didn't go back near the kiddie pool again.

I had a hairless rat (named Nixon) that would sleep in my roommate's Golden Retriever's hair. The dog would just be laying their sleeping, stand up, and they the rat would just fall out!
