Yes and I wont stay there again. Would recommend Cherry Blossoms not far from Swagman. Better quality hotel and cleaner and cheaper Will agree with sanmigsea food at Swagman is pretty good

No, but its reputation here in Manila isn't exactly top-of-the-line.
There are many hotels, pension houses, apartments, and serviced residences in Manila. I'm sure one can find a place to stay should s/he decide the Swagman is not for her/him. Manila is a beautiful city, and I think it would be a shame if one weren't to enjoy her/his stay here because s/he didn't book at the best possible place.

I agree with Phil H, Swagman is crap, Cherry Blossom is less crap.

It's clean, tidy and pretty basic, with good rates.
Have a look at the images and the nearby hotels which will allow you to form an impression.
