I have been married for over a year, and pregnant. I am due at any time. My husband doesn't answer his phone, lies to me, and we fight all the time. I really want him out of my life. I feel lonely even if we are in the same room. I feel like he is taking advantage of me. I don't need him to pay bills, hell will freeze over the day he does. The condo is in my name, and not one mail comes here in his name. I just want him to move out, I don't feel like he loves me or respects me. How can I get him out legally? Also, how can I get him out with out him taking all of my furniture? That I have worked very hard to buy.

Get an lawyer...if everything is in your name, then it's yours...
Get a restraining order and make sure the sheriff's dept or police are there and make him move his stuff out of the house. Box it up for him..change the locks on your house, back and front. Change the code for your garage door (if you have an opener), change your phone numbers, all of them. Make sure all the bills, credit cards and things that are in your name, have HIS taken off.
Make sure he can't get into your bank acct. Make sure he has NO access to anything...

Good luck ! [[[ ]]] you deserve a happy life away from him.

Dear Hollie Jo,
You need to tell him you don't love him anymore and you want him out! How do you propose that this jerk not be attached to you forever once you have the baby? You have been married a year now and you're going to have to file for divorce (life is so complicated). Get a lawyer to protect yourself and the baby that's coming. You have a very hard dilemma here and I'm not sure as to what you're going to be able to do, if he touches you you could have him arrested and then have a restraining order put against him but if he hasn't you've got a slug on your hands. How did you ever meet such a jerk?

call the cops and he cant take anything you say is yours,
but let him get his clothes and pictures and everything.
Is it your hormones or are you two really finished?
when it about that time you will need to keep the stress out of your life, right now you are felling this way but have you always?
you know the first year of marriage is the hardest and usually ends with divorce.
If he abuses you or treats you the way you say you don't need that but you should think and make sure you are making the right move. I know i don't know you or what is going on right now but i remember when I was that pregnant and I made every small thing huge and after the baby was here and I saw that everything was clearer. I don't know what else to say but good luck with your new bundle of joy and hope you get treated better

Hollie, depends on what State you're in. Try talking with an attorney first. It may be possible to simply have all locks changed when he's out of the house. Have you considered therapy/counseling? After all, you did marry him so you must have felt something at one time. Is he worth the effort to go to marriage counseling? If not, then talk to an attorney before you do anything permanent. Follow the attorney's advice. Good luck.

From what I understand unless there is violence, adultery, etc. you have to be separated for so long before you can get a divorce. The length of separation depends on your state. Once you file for separation give him the boot. I doubt he'll have any luck taking your furniture. It's your condo and you are pregnant I don't think any judge in their right mind would ever allow that. If he tries to take it when he leaves call the cops. I would recommend calling them before he leaves to prevent any violence. You have a baby to protect. Definitely go for child support.

1. When he is out, change the lock and lock him out

2. Inform him by a letter or a text message that this marriage is over and you are going to get a divorce.

3. Talk to a divorce attorney for 1 hour. He might charge $100. It is worth it. If you have money, hire him to do the divorce for you.

4. Otherwise, go to the family court to get the divorce. It is essentially free.

Good Luck !

Change your locks and leave him a note telling him that you want him out! Arrange to have his belongings at a central location for him to pick up, say one of his friend's or families houses. Contact a divorce attorney and emplain the situation and make sure that everything you does, will not make you at fault when it's time to head to divorce court!

Good luck and Congrats on taking a step towards a better future for you and your child!

This is a hard question to answer since we don't know what state you live in. Do you reside in a community property state? No matter where you live, you should probably consult with a family law attorney to learn what your rights are. You deserve child support for your baby.

Good Luck...

well first you have to divorce him if you don't think you should be with him...but be sure first...yall are having a child together. Then (if he's still living with you and depending in what state you live in) give him thirty days notice to get out. when the thirty days is up he has to leave. don't worry...if the furniture is yours its yours. possession is 9/10 of the law:)

Tell him to beat it and with phone in hand with the 9 and the 1 dialed, tell him if he even makes any physical move towards you the other 1 will be dialed and cops will take his butt to jail. Tell him to move on and go find someone else to be his mommy.
