Anything is possible but it might be difficult. I married an Indian guy who was already living in the US, did his studies in the US and was working in the US before we met. There are still cultural issues that have to be addressed all the time but at least he understood my country and American culture. I had also spent lots of time in Indian and had a degree in Indian studies and knew my husband's native language.

The first problem is where are you going to live. If you are planning on going to the US you need to make sure that you are able to get a job that will pay you enough to have the kind of life your girlfriend is expecting. Unless you are a highly experienced software or hardware engineer, a doctor or other highly qualified professional you will most likely only find very low paying work. You will also find it quite a change to live in the US. If you expect her to live in India - she should be ready to make major adjustments and to adapt to a new culture. There will be many things she will have to accept that may be difficult for her. I think before you get married you need to discuss and plan for all these issues.

Good luck.

If it follows the arrange marriage system that I know many Indians follow then I feel it will be hard to adjust. But if you guys have been knowing each other for long and the women is all ready to adjust then I feel there shouldn't be really any issue. Infact marriage is a matter of compromise and if both involved in the relation makes sure that they do what they can to make it work, it surely will. Though yes, life for a girl who has been used to the lifestyle in US might take a little more time than any Indian girl would, to adjust. So guess that much patience and time should be allowed.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/CjR6l

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/MPNvO

It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

It is possible but big cultural differences. Is it out of love or just to get US citizenship?

First of all you will not find someone to marry you.

Second of all, you will not find a job to support your family

Thirdly, you will be doomed by culture shock.

Why, don't you have any girls in your hometown ?
