Alas, some people just don't pay attention. They would prefer to walk in lockstep with their party leaders regardless. Interestingly..Hermann Goering, Hitler’s Propaganda Minister said; “Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger”.

Unfortunately the people who voted for Bush were duped. Some have begun to rue their action. We all make mistakes. Hopefully they have learned from their mistake. The others who still support him may have hope for them yet. They might wake up and stop listening to conservative hate radio. Maybe they will find the truth and then again maybe they won't.

Do you want to handle China and Mexico? I know that if I tell you the truth, I will not get voted as the best answer but here it is:

Get off your butt and get to work. Take every opportunity they have here in the US and beat them. Forget politics or forcing them out and put your efforts on production. The Chinese can only copy stuff and then they have to carry it miles and miles. Consumers should not buy Chinese products when possible. US can sell ideas that are better than plain labor and raw material.

well, here is something the Chinese investors wont like, the USA should not import products that are not made with the same or better employee benefits, salaries, product approvals, as USA has. When they get to the port ask who and how the products were made. Does it have a certificate of compliance of US rules? No? GO BACK! There, maybe I invented a new inspection job paid by the Chinese importers.

I don't know the treaty's detail, but I think that we should not shut their door, because they will shut our door over there or create more war, but make it fair for the workers so that investors will not think about taking advantage of the lack of regulations. They will only look for the most productive group of workers.

Why is it fair for investors to pay so much for labor in USA and not in other countries?

So the answer to the question is we will fix it.

Personal responsibility is always a key factor in the solution of any problem. The people, such as you and I, are the ones who fix, or leave broken anything. Did you complain to your representatives in Washington? If not, then by your lack of action you supported everything that has gone wrong, if indeed it has gone wrong, that you are now whining about. WE the PEOPLE of the United States are the cause of anything, and everything that our government does, or does not do. The President has very limited powers. The Legislature is where the better portion of the power of the government resides. The people, like you and I have a measure of say over what those people do. Emails, letters, or telephone calls let our representatives know what our thoughts and feelings are on any thing that is going on in Washington. We the people did not do as we should, so any problems that anyone is whining about is their fault, ultimately, not the President's or any of our representatives. YOU sat back and did nothing, so in point of fact, YOU are the cause of the problems you whine about now.

His presidency has not been a disaster, and it's hard to feel responsible for creating more poor by voting for him when your question is so biased in the first place. First of all their are more jobs and people working in this country than before President Bush took office. He's created a lot of jobs. I know this is going in one ear and out the other so I'll make it short and try not to point out too many positives at once. Second, if you don't see the reason for the war and possibility for terrorists in Iraq your flat out blind. Third, you ask your questions like the media would by not giving me a chance to express my own opinion or show my true answer. Your already telling me in your question that Bush is having a Disastrous Presidency. Maybe you should research the facts, try and come up with your own questions. Don't watch so much of the media that is so far to the left and unreliable because of it.

I don't think at the time they voted they realized what a person Bush was, but they know he didn't win either election so we can't blame on the Republicans , he lied to them also. I feel sorry for Hillary Clinton along with Bill trying to fix the mess he has made. That is reason I know people will expect it to be fixed in 90 days , there is no way that any party could do it the first 4 years But let's give them a chance to try to make amends for what a complete idiot and Al Capone have destroyed, You couldn't give me the job, I wouldn't take for 1 million a year because he has not done one thing wrong, it's everything is in such a mess WHEW!!!

It can be fixed by allowing for a decent minimum wage and creating a system for different levels above $7 for jobs that are more difficult or dirty (like being in the cold and wet, or lifting very heavy items). I can see a minimum wage of $12 for certain types of jobs...this issue is about enslavement of people and containing them to a life of poverty because some employers will not raise the wage of a person no matter how hard they work or what they do for the employer...People who never have worked for employers like that, can sit in their high places looking down at the poor with their noses held high, but that doesn't mean they can have an informed opinion about the work ethic of the poor...when I was young, I worked with Native Americans in a potato factory, it was brutal work and they only got paid when the line was moving, even if they were doing something else to get the line moving...a young man and myself lifted 100 pound sacks off pallets and handed them thru a chute for 3 hours..about 100 sacks..by hand and were never paid for it because the owner knew he could get away with it.

Create real labor laws and provide a real system of rewards to prevent any sort of slavery...Capitalism is fine, just so everyone is allowed access to it, if only the elite have access, then it is an artificial society. Bush has done nothing for the common man other than give him a job of killing arabs or being killed by them...he's just a "board room director" looking out for his elite's profit margin, not the welfare of the people in the factory.

i do not trust that we ought to continually ought to grant money to the authorities for Social safe practices and Medicare. i'd pick to save my paycheck and to spend it as I please. i'm no longer wealthy both. yet i'm able to save up for my own retirement without the authorities doing it for me. i have heard that Social safe practices is a few thing like a pyramid scheme. some era is going to get screwed - the money given by the more youthful is going to pay the medical needs of the former....it can not be sustained indefinitely. by making an investment in deepest expenses i think that Bush became attempting to wean the american public off of unnecessary authorities classes. i do not want a handout; i would like a mark downs account and our authorities is bloated sufficient that it does no longer favor to take over my own commonly used jobs. .

Why don't you give the poor some of your own money instead of telling others what they need to do with theirs. And no i do not feel responsible. The person i am responsible for is myself and if i can't make enough to support myself then the only person i can blame is myself. We live in America where the opportunities are endless. It's not my problem if some people can't take advantage of our nation's great economic system.

The sad reality is that neither party is likely to address the real issues associated with the inequity. As history has proven, government tends to favor the very powerful.

The occupation (or do they call it a war) of the middle east by U.S. forces (or do they call it a coalition) creates a smoke screen to redistribute wealth and power.

The sad truth is that we are likely to be engaged in an expensive and long-lasting conflict in the middle east as long as a wealthy few individuals and corporations will profit from it. The rich get richer... and you know the rest.

probably a democrat. and probably they will be damned for raising taxes in an effort to face the harsh reality that you can't spend more than you take in for revenue (a truth that seems to escape our current leader). we had almost made it before the Reagan/Bush Sr. regime, Clinton, for all his faults did see the deficient shrink but Bush Jr. quickly ended that trend. I just hope that one of the parties put forth someone with something to offer as opposed to two more politicians that pick away at each other making it the lesser of 2 evils thing AGAIN!
