I'm looking to buy a digital piano with my tax money. I'm not a professional player, I just don't have the room to put a real piano in my apartment, but I want to start playing again. What's a good model that's not hugely expensive? I specifically want touch sensitive keys and a pedal.

Yamaha digitals are considered some of the best. Check out a model (e.g. piano) in your price range and see if it has the features you want. I suspect you will want weighted keys, and something that actually feels like you're playing a piano. "Sounds" like fun.
