She's got lots of male friends. She brings them home to hang out but it's obvious to me that most of them have more of an interest in her than as just a friend. When I mention it she gets mad. Why else would a guy let her dress him up in her girly clothes and put makeup on him? Some even drop by with cookies (or soup if she is sick).

She is 15. Please respect the fact of her age, and the fact that girls her age can sometimes just want guy friends. And, sometimes, guys do nice things for their friends that are girls. I think it is very nice that these guys are this nice for your daughter. Take care.

At 15 it can be awkward. Maybe she's just insecure about their attentions, and not really 'mad' but she's just not ready for that kind of relationship yet and doesn't know how to respond... even to your description of them. Even from way over here, I can see what you mean. Guys don't go home with a girl and let them do those sorts of things without an intention or some idea of getting something out of it later.
Maybe the word 'crush' is something she doesn't like. "Crushes" are soemthing kids have... and at 15 no doubt, she's starting to move very much out of the kid thing.

My mom does this to me and it really annoys me. I mean, sometimes she could be right, but it makes me feel so awkward. She doesn't know my friends as well as she may think. And it's not that easy to just start a relationship. If I want to then it just makes it weird that my mom suggested it. Along with all the times my mom acts protective of me, I get mixed messages of what she expects.

Maybe they are just friends with no other interests in her despite the kind gestures, after all they might just be being nice.
She might be feeling a bit uncomfortable or put on the spot by the comments.

It could be that she is weirded out by talking about such things with her mother, or it could be that she doesnt want them to look at her like that and takes it out on you when you point it out, or lol it could be that she just isnt looking at boys like that and she thinks you are just being plain silly, and that you are wrong about pointing it out.

Maybe she is ashamed or embarrased to think that her mother would suggest such a thing. Maybe she's just not ready for relationships yet.

I don't think she thinks of them that way, and she doesn't even want to think about it. And they could always be best friends. One of my best guy friends let me put eyeliner on him once, and I know for a fact that he doesn't like me...

She might get upset because she really considers them just friends and doesn't agree with you, but I myself wouldn't get affending by that accusation.
