I need family type accodommodation at budget prices and to know how far they are from the Lithgow showground, if they are within walking distance and if not is there a lot of parking available and a good place to eat on a Friday and Saturday night.

The Lithgow Showground is just off the highway with the entrance in George Coates Avenue. Use http://www.whereis.com.au for a map showing the area and the yellow pages http://www.yellowpages.com.au to find hotels and motels and their prices. Most hotels and motels in Lithgow would be within walking distance of the showground.
