I live in Memphis, TN in a one bedroom apartment with my fiance, and the most I've ever paid is $15 per month.

roughly $20 to $25 per month and that includes sewage. We have a lot of water in New Orleans metro area.

here in las vegas we pay about 15 dollars a month which seems odd since we are in a desert, and in indiana i didnt have a washing machine so i used less water, but our bills were closer to 25 dollars a month. go figure.

Detroit Michigan area- we pay every 2 months
my usage for one person is :
$13.80 for water $2.30 per 1000 gal
$18.66 sewer $3.22 per 1000 gal

50 bucks, which also covers garbage disposal. thats in florida.
