I was talking to some other high school boy basketball players, and they say that he is the best they've ever went against. I talked to him a couple months ago and asked him if he got drafted, would he go? and he said definately... So what team do you think will get him?

Boston Celtics has the worst record right now, and has the best chance of getting the overall #1 pick. If they should get the #1 pick they better pick Durant, the kid has got all around game, Oden is good at Ohio St, but seriously, he can't touch Durant in overall skill.

It looks like either the Celtics or Grizzlies. The question to who goes #1 over Durant and Oden is still neck and neck. Furthermore, the Celtics' Paul Pierce has said he wanted the Celtics to possibly trade the pick for some veteran help. So alot of activity might happen causing different outcomes, but it most likely will be one of those 2 teams.

Guys, Pierce and Durant play the same position. If Oden isn't in the draft (stranger things have happened) and the Celtics have the top pick, they have to trade it. Either that or trade Pierce. Teams would give up the moon, sun, and stars to get Durant and you could then have access to that veteran help Pierce needs.

If Paul Pierce tells the Celtics to trade the #1 pick and they do it! Than you know the Celtic curse is alive and well.

That would be absolutely retarded! They can't get anyone back for that pick as talented as Durant or Oden. But they need to draft Durant over Oden no doubt

personally I dont think pierce from the celtics wants to put up with another dismal season...boston will seek veteran help in the middle and at the other forward postion that can make them competitive right away...Durant will probably end up with the Grizz or whatever team benefits from the pick/player swap, he will end up on some team that cant make the playoffs...get playing time ,average 17 or so a game and get rookie of the year...

Kevin Durant is overated in a way, he is not the best in college basketball. The only reason he puts up big numbers is that he is mainly the one to take all of the shot, except for a small number from Augustin.
