Well, there are a lot of questions here. Are you due? And at the last doctors visit, were you told anything about cervical ripening? If it is labor, the contractions will be from 5 to 7 minutes apart and go that way for at least two hours. If you get up and walk around, the contractions should get stronger. If as you are pacing the floor, they start and stop, then it is probably not the real thing. And if you really wonder....then it is probably not the real thing ...as when it is real..there is no question. If it is your first baby, just get up and walk...and if the contractions get so strong that you cant rest in between...then it is time.

You could be having Braxton Hicks which is false labor. Is the pain consistant patterns like every 5 minutes and last approx. 2 minutes? If so then you should go to the hospital if it is not then you should drink 64 oz of water every 20 minutes until the pain subsides. Good Luck!

Start timing your contractions. If they are five minutes or less apart than you may be in full labor. The pain should increase. Drink plenty of water and walk around a lot. I would suggest calling your doctor to see what he says. Good luck!

Hey, could be. If they increase in intensity and get closer together, GO TO THE HOSPITAL. Don't worry that they may send you home, or laugh if you're in flase labor. They have seen it all and trust me, there's nothing that surprises them. It is better to be safe than sorry. My second was born in the front seat of our car after 45 minutes of 'mild labor'...believe me, you'd rather be in the hospital! GO girl!

drink a lot of water!!! take a tums and walk around and sit down if the pain doesn't go away, you might go in, did your water break, how far along are you. If the hospital isn't to far go in. Insurance shouldn't be more then 200 bucks even if they send you home.

I depends on weather or not they are consistent or not. are the pains coming every 7 minutes? or are they fluctuating?

If they are pretty consistent you should go to the hospital if not it is probably false labor. If your water breaks get to the hospital.

No, obviously it is due to lot of work doing and straining your self, try to work less and take rest, kindly go to general checkup it may be due to lack of calcium in bones so you r getting pain. Kindly do what i say so that your back pain will be reduced.

You should go the doctor, but you might be having medical problems, not labor. Also did you feel your water break? and are you pregent?
