Why do you want to do that? At best you may be able to open up a business account without using your actual social and using the company's tax i.d. I do not work in a bank branch, but I do work in the industry, and with all of the laws in place (PATRIOT act) for setting up new accounts, I'm going to say, no you are probably going to have to provide that, and furthermore if you are that concerned, you most likely are doing something you don't have any business doing.

NONE will let you sign up without a social security number. Reason one - there are taxable situations generated by bank accounts (interest income) that would need to be reported by your social security number. Reason two - ever since 9/11, all banks require a social security number and picture ID.
