Many women have PMS. I used to have it but thankfully, those days are gone! Signs of PMS are: Cravings for sweets and/or salty foods, mood swings, bloating, cramps, headaches, backaches, depression and for some, anger. If these symptoms are not severe and managable, that would be considered "normal" PMS. If they are severe, interferring in your life to the point you are not able to function, that would be considered abnormal. Hope this helps!

I was just diagnosed with endometriosis. My PMS would
be so bad, I could just chew on glass. Check with your
doctor, but don't let them put you on medication before you
get a second opinion, cause these medications are not for
everyone.

I still get quite testy when it's that time of the month. I can
provoke an arguement just like that. See your doctor cause
it will help you.

If you have fibroids or some other medical condition, your PMS will be intensified. If you get severe cramps during your period and then have to rush to the bathroom within 15 minutes because your tampon won't be able to hold it, you probably have a problem. severe PMS in my book: weight gain of over 5 pounds, debilitating pain (back, abdomen, head, breasts), mood irritablity that makes you not want to even be around yourself, knock-you-to-your-knees cramps before/at the beginning of your period
