Tonight I was coming out of the parking garage and I lost my ticket to pay for the parking. It's $20 if you lose the ticket so I started looking for it, finally I found it, I pulled up to the booth again and suddenly it's gone again! Meanwhile I"ve caused a huge traffic jam in the parking garage and I can't find the ticket, the guy in the booth yelling at me, I'm about to pay the $20 when I found it -- phew! What a nightmare!

This week.
Car needed new brakes & rotors. Took car in to garage for repairs. Drive away. Turns out lugnuts were not tightened, had to go back to garage. While re-tightening lugnuts, they noticed a new problem with the new rotors, caused by loose lugnuts. Said to come back in 2 days to re-replace rotors, but car safe to drive. ABS light goes on on the trip home. Brakes not working very well. Turns out rotors they put on were, in fact, defective. That caused 2 parts in the ABS system to go bad, which caused the whole ABS system to be replaced. Had to send out for parts. They've now had the car for 2 days. Finally go to pick car up yesterday, and the starter, which has been going, is gone. Car will not start. Hubby decides that instead of towing to the dealer we let the morons at this shop do the repair. Return following day to pick up car. Whew!
Not the worst thing in the world, but aggravating, and costing $1000 that I don't have. THAT'S probably the bigger nightmare.
