a couple months ago i found out that 2 of my friends smoke and on the weekends they also drink....one of my best friends told me she hates people like that and she would never do anything like that...but last week i went 2 my dad's house and i was going 4 a walk with my step sister and i saw all 3 of them walking down the alley behind my dad's house and they wre all smoking........should i tell the friend that said she would never smoke that i know or just pretend that i never saw it....also i know if i tell her she will deny it......what should i do??

Just leave it alone. Turn around and walk the other way. Let her know that you know without words. I lost some friends along the way because of choices that my friends made that I didn't care for. You don't have to get nasty, just say nothing and do nothing more with her. If she really cared about your friendship, she'll be back

Honesty is the best answer. Follow your heart, do what you feel is right for you. You can do the right thing for your self and make your on choices, that you will carry and be responsible, and respectably for the rest of your life. The choices they make are theirs and you may not change them or correct them for them.So what kind of friend is She ? The real Question is ....do you really want a best friend that lies ? I would tell her, and I would also tell her you do not need those kinds of friendships. The choice is really yours. And sometimes the ones we have to make are lessons Learned !

Wait, until your friend statrs saying something of the sort, then ask her why it's ok for her when she thinks no ones looking, be nice about it, laugh and make a joke, but tell her after not to judge people or they'll do the same to her.

Well if she is really your friend, then it won't hurt to confront her with it, now you don't have to do that though!
I mean, since she is your friend you would think that she would be honest with you, but it doesn't look like that is the case.
If you don't want to ask her about it, then just keep it in the back of your mind, that she readily says one thing but does another thing.
Something to think about when it comes to serious matters. She can easily say one thing but then give in to peer pressure quite easily.
