Why did they kill my darling, beloved Eddy for their filthy election; for their miserable, pathetic Whig party (gone now anyway!) I would have died to protect him; if I had been there, I would rather have burned to death, or be thrown in a meat-grinder, than be born 130 years later, and look on, unborn and helpless!

October 7th, 1849 - curse you! May Baltimore, Democracy, and this horrid corrupt world someday recieve the recompense due to them!

Okay, so it's Edgar Allen Poe to which you refer? Rumor has it that he died of anything from excessive alcohol consumption to tuberculosis. Why do you feel that "they" killed him? If but only a thought on your part, then why dost thou think so? Speak now, or hold your peace Nevermore.
