do people form their own ideas or do they get ideas from influences in their environment?

ppl form what they think are their original ideas. however, like it or not, people develop their ideas based on:
mass media persuasion
peer pressure (for all ages)
social acceptance
state of mental health

We think we do, but we only do, re-act and live by what we've been taught, by our parents, TV, schools and leaders in our society. But we won't own up to that because of our pride that we pretty much got from our parents. "Get IT"

Rarely,but mostly the environmental situations,their relatives,school,education,religion takes a the leader role.
