A "superfemale" has three x chromosomes instead of two. This happens because of a meiotic disfunction in the mother. Instead of her somatic cells, which contain XX, dividing into two cells each with an X, it divides into one cell with no sex chromosomes and one cell with both X's. This, combined with one X from the father, would make for a XXX triploid female.
