What is the animated guy that shows up when i sign in supposed to be doing?

He's supposed to be on a fat reducing belt thingy. I don't know the proper term for the device, but people in the 1950s used to believe that you could reduce the fat in your body by hooking yourself up to one of these devices and having the fat shaken off of you. So that's what Yahoo man is doing.
