Depends where you are coming from. Some airlines let you fly into one airport in Florida and out another without charging extra. You can fly into West Palm and out of Tampa, for example. Good airlines with cheap fares are American, US Airways, Delta, Jet Blue and Southwest. Sometimes one is cheaper than the other, depends on the day and time. For example, we sometimes fly US Airways one way to Vegas and Southwest the other way.

My dad lives in Florida and he uses Spirit Airlines the most. He signed up for the email deals and flew from Fort Myers to Detroit for $8. and back for $29. They run great specials, Check 'em out!

Airtran is great, without the "herded cattle" effect used by Southwest...nice new planes too.
