What is the most heart stopping experience you have ever had? And what scares you the most?

Mine was finding a copperhead in my shower. The things I am most scared of are spiders and scorpions.

I think it is a tie for me between riding in with a 70 percent malfunctioned parachute and a tangled reserve, or piloting a motorcycle over a cliff while cross country racing in the North Georgia mountains. (Landed in a bed of Kudzu. Nothing hurt but my pride.)
