I am staying for until Monday and got VIP line passes for PURE on Friday, but was wondering if someone could point in the right direction in where the best places to meet some single women and the best places to eat and also the best clubs to go to and a suggestion on where I could get some more VIP passes!!! DO you think my concierge at the Stratosphere could help me with that I would really like to go to Tangerine!!

The Strat is not exactly top of the line if you're looking for helpful staff of any sort to guide you. In fact be very careful outside of it once it gets dark. I won't say that you should wear latex gloves and watch for needles lying around but it's definitely a looooong way from the Luxor or Mandalay Bay as far as class and clientelle. As far as clubs go there used to be one called simply Ra that was the 'in' place to go. You might check to see if it's still there. My personal favorites like Moby Grape and Main Gate and Krackers are no longer there but if you ask the local people who have lived there for at least 10 years they can probably suggest something. Or, listen to a local radio station that plays the kind of music you like once you get there for an hour or so and the DJ's will mention at some point where they like to party. I like Rock so I used to listen to KOMP and they still mention Moby Grape every now and then, and it's been closed for over 15 years.
