Well, do they? Mostly interested in the Inuits though... I know they tend to have a slightly broader nose bridge than Caucasians but do they really have tiny noses? Do they vary alot? Can they have big, long, pointy noses? Help!

Native people have a wide variety of noses. Just like any group of people. Do you know how many tribes there are? Each tribe has different typical facial features and within that is always variation as well.

Do some reasearch. Go to google and type in Native American. Click on the images section. You will see there are differences.

Or go to this website: http://www.archives.gov/research/native-americans/pictures/index.html

I speak from experience. I am a Native woman.

I would guess it depends on the particular tribe they are from as to what is more common. After all, in small population groups (like villages) certain traits tend to be more common and stand out.

I have apache and seminole blood in me, and the blood has left a legacy of wide foreheads and straight noses in our family, but the noses are not particularly small.

Every ethnic group has distinguishing features. I would say ask an Inuit or a doctor that lives in an area with a lot of Inuits.

I have to say I cannot really believe this question is being asked. Is the world so stuck on a typical stereotyped Hollywood Indian? I am from the Mi'kmaq Nation and like all races we have people of different shapes and sizes including our noses. I have been round the twinkie pow wow circuit and seen non natives trying to portray themselves as Indian because of the size of their noses...how silly!

Not sure about inuits particularly but Native Americans are like other nationalities, they have all different shapes and sizes of noses.

Let's find out.

Go to Google.com & click on the images tab. Type "famous native american" or "famous inuit". All kinds of American Indian noses will instantly jump right out. :-)

A nose is a nose is a nose...hard to say since they all vary. My own family varies, so I'm sure any community varies more-so.

They are just like everyone else. We all come in different shapes, sizes, heights and shades of color regardless of what race they belong to.
