No doubt it's Acie Law. His incredible run of making last second game-winning shots is amazing, and there are several games (last year's tournament loss to LSU, this year's last-second loss to Texas Tech) where he did make what would be the game winner only to have the opponent sneak out a shot after wards. This guy is amazing and the reason on the court that Texas A&M is a true contender in the NCAA this year.

Acie Law has been getting more love recently, though I believe A&M doesn't get as much respect as they deserve. Nick Fazekas is probably the least appreciated, averaging 20.9 and 11.4 (double-double) and gets no mention. Shelden Williams averaged that last year and was all over the media because he played at Duke. Jeff Green has been playing outstanding the past month for Georgetown. Guy averages 13.7, 5.9 and 3.6. I think the most underated freshman is Brandan Wright from UNC. He averages 14.9 and 6.4 a game and hits 66% of his shots (leads the ACC).

What about Sherron Collins? As a freshman, he's putting up almost 10 ppg along with some of the other class standouts. The only difference is, until the Iowa State game, he's done so off the bench, with an average of 21min/game! Yet, I haven't heard that much static about him. I know I'm biased, but I firmly believe that Kansas is going to see a number of great things from him in the years to come. He is quickly becoming one of the many Jayhawks that fit the bill as the go-to guy in the pressure situation...watch out!

i really don't understand how people can say hansbrough is underrated when he is not even the best player on his own team. that would be brandon wright. hansbrough isnt as dominant as people think, remember the gonzaga game when david pendergraft held him to 9 points? wright had above 20 in that game because gonzaga had no answer for him. if wright wasnt nagged by injuries the whole year he would be a contender for player of the year.
now to answer the question: its probably sean singletary he has the potential to go off on any team at any time, he wants the ball in his hands at the end of the game, and has put up fantastic numbers this year yet, people dont really consider him for all acc over players from bigger "name" schools like duke bc and unc. if you really want to know an underrated player go with someone few people know well like blake ahearn of missouri state, guy can shoot it.

Jay Jackson of Texas Tech is by far the most underrated player in the NCAA. He does it all for the Raiders. He can shoot for anywhere on the court, and hits clutch shots. He should be an all-american.

Jeff Green. The man is an absolute monster and he isn't getting much credit to his name. He's leading Georgetown to an 11 game winning streak and potentially the Big East title.
