I do believe that America has the power to stop the enemy and I do support the Bush Adm. but the terrorists did say they would fight us over there or on our own ground, they didn't care which. Since our goverment and a big share of Americans don't want to fight any kind of war what's going to happen if we stop? Or when President Bush is out of office and Hillary stops the war? We've got the means to defend ourselves but we don't want to so it isn't Bush, it's getting the rest of the country to be aware of the danger before it happens. Right now an awful lot of people don't even believe there is a terrorist threat.

Because pulling out could make us look weak to our enemies, as if we don't have the guts to stick out a war we started. That's not an insult to our intelligence community, they've already surely prevented many terrorist attacks. Keeping us safe here is the task of the FBI, CIA, and NSA. The Bush Administration is simply the mascot for America. Would you mind not making blanket statements, and calling cons "you people"?

Good points. I don't really get this story either. I mean if we were ACTUALLY fighting the "terrorists" then we would still be in Afghanistan and NOT Iraq like Bush wants us to be.

Let me try and put it as simply as possible for you.........
* If you were a terrorist, would you want 150,000 US troops fighting you in Iraq? Or would you want them to pack up leave?
* If you were a terrorist, would you like full access to the world's 3rd largest oil reserves? Or would you prefer that it remains under US protection?
* If you were a terrorist, would it be easier for you to plan more terrorist attacks against the US with them packed up and heading home? Or hunting you down where you live and breathe?
Call it cutting & running, call it cutting & jogging, or you can call it cutting & walking........any relief we give to terrorists by packing up and heading home convinces them that they've won. And without US pressure, they can organize more attacks against our country. It might not happen overnight, but you can expect another 911 real soon if we ease up on terrorists. And it all starts with leaving Iraq.

What intelligence are you referring to? Anyone with half of a clue understands that the terrorists have declared war on us and they will not stop until they have destroyed us.
Bush is keeping us safe because he is killing them there. We are on offense. Running out of Iraq will only show them they can win

How long are we supposed to live in fear of another attack from another and another and another terrorist group over there and in this place and that place. Where does it all end and do we have to build them all another country in the process so that they are better,smarter and richer to have more capability to kick our @sses the next time.

The radical Muslims said they want to bring this country down. Are you calling them liars? I don't think they would like that. This may bring a shock to your soul, but Bush has kept our country safe.
