I'm planning on a trip to Disney this coming Christmas for my first trip (I'm 23). I have motion sickness when I go on anything like a carosel or roller coaster. I have always wanted to go on the little Dumbo ride and teacups, and all the cool rollercoaster type rides they have. I used to be able to go on anything as a kid, but now I get very dizzy, nausea, and end up vomiting. I don't have the probelm in a car or on a boat, but any rides bother me. I did get the patch for a cruise we went on but didn't end up needing it. Has anyone used the motion sickness patch or medications for roller coasters or anything like that? I'd really like to know. Thanks!!

Bonine won't make you drowsy & works really well. Take one the day before your rides & one the day of your rides. I did this for a very rough boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef & was one of the few not "feeding the fishes".

After growing up in Orange County, Ca and practically living at amusement parks, I started to get headaches and feel sick to my stomach after rides. I bought a trial pack of Dramamine and it worked great, so definitely give it a try.

I recommend you to not use Dramamine because it makes you SUPER drowsy. I get motion sick all the time and I always use Bonine tablets. They are little tiny chewable raspberry flavored things and they always work and have never let me down. Plus, they don't make you half as drowsy as Dramamine would. I hope my advice helped!!

Dramamine! It works like a charm, but make sure to follow directions.

My daughter uses Dramamine every time she goes to an amusement park and she says they work very well.
