Type cast means he is stuck playing the same role all the time. Eye think he looks like a marine!

I'd say because of his body-type--athletic and very muscular, and because he's so tall--that he is indeed type-cast in movies. He is tall and muscular, so, I'd say they would always play him as the hero/main character in action movies, since he easily fits the profile.
I mean, think about it...John Cena in a soppy love story? Nah.
John Cena in a fantasy movie? Nah...
John Cena in a mystery movie? I could do without it...
John Cena in a sci-fi? No...
John Cena in a chick flick? Nope!
John Cena in a porno? GOD YES!
Haha, had to do it, sorry...But yes, I think he is type-cast...shame, really...

I don't know what your trying to say but he only made one movie called The Marine and hes a marine in the movie and he acted like that because he was directed to. If your talking about being a marine in the movie and in wrestling, he was always like that because he started filming The Marine in 2004 when he was United States Champion when he was a freestyle gangster rapper

He could be. For the movie The Marine, he wasn't the first choice for leading actor though. (It was originally meant for Stone Cold Steve Austin.)

i actually prefer to work out it! John Cena can carry a 420 lb. guy (the large khali) That appears like the excellent action picture ever! :) i could be the only baby in my college to work out it and own it! i like the returned of that John Cena T-shirt "you won't be able to See Me!"
