We would find a young pine tree and pull it down and one of us would climb on close to the top of the tree and the other's would let it go---what a ride! It's a wonder we didn't get hurt, but we never did!

When the snow started to melt our pond would overflow, and the water would flow pretty fast down the stream. My brother, sister, and I would take turns digging holes in the stream while the other two went to another area where they couldn't see where the holes were being dug. When the "digger" was done, the other two had to run fast through the stream trying to avoid the holes and falling. The one who made it falling the least became the "digger." That water was ICED COLD! Of course our mother didn't know we were doing this! ◄WOOF►

We use to make prank phone calls. Nothing obscene or anything. We'd just have fun calling random people and being silly. Sometimes we'd get fun people that would play along. But... that was before caller ID. Yet, even if we didn't have caller ID today, I still wouldn't want my children to do it. It is quite dangerous if you get a hold of the wrong person.

Well before I had graduated high school I had:
drank
smoked weed
gotten into trouble for vandalism
made a "molotov cocktail" and threw it in the street
threw snowballs at cars

I'd be pretty pissed if I found out about my daughter doing any of those things.

Hill jumping in a car, we almost wrecked one time. There have been several kids die doing this. Trying drugs, drinking and driving, smoking cigarettes and having sex at a young age.

I figure if I did it, I have no right to tell anyone not to. I'm not saying they wouldn't get disciplined for doing stuff, but they'd think before doing stupid crap like mooning truckers or taking a motorcycle for a joyride.

Started smoking at thirteen, smoked my first doob at fourteen, lost my virginity at fifteen, had my first child at seventeen.

I have lived and learned, and my kids will learn different.

My parents weren't much of an example for me.
