Mp3. i heard that ipods break too easy

Definitely an ipod because even though they are basically the same thing they are not because the ipod can hold alot more songs than the mp3 player.The ipod mini holds about a thousand and the reg ipod holds about 5000.Mp3 players hold around 30-40 songs. Also because you can get an ipod in different colors and its easy to bring with you everywhere than an Mp3 player.

I prefer the ipod. You just need to be careful with them, they hold more songs Depending on what kind 500 or 1000 songs. If you get the video ipod you can download episodes on it. Also, with ipods you can have pictures. The only con I can say about my ipod is I have to charge it alot. But i would rather charge it then have to go buy batteries.
Some mp3 players aren't bad, you just need to check about the battery life (or else you'll be buying batteries left and right).And they don't have all the extra stuff that the ipod does. So In my opinon, I would go with an ipod. If you're afraid of it breaking--get a warranty!

Depends, Ipods are pretty cool (I have two, the nano and the shuffle, and they work really nice) and it is very organzied with the itunes and stuff. Mp3's I don't know very much about except you can't use itune store or itunes gift cards so I guess that kinda sucks. I'd go with an Ipod because like 90% of the music retail is owned by Apple which means that you will get better coverage with accessories and downloading music,videos, games, etc.

I would say I-Pod because my girls have one and it is so easy to load songs on and it's very simple to use. We had an MP3 player at first but took it back to exchange them for I-Pods.

You should get a creative zen vision m 30gig . it shows movies & music. Its better than ipod
