It's called General Tso's Chicken. It's morsels of chicken that is seasoned with a spicy/sweet sauce. It's somewhat crispy on the outside.

The best way to try it is to go to any Chinese buffet. I'm sure they'll have it. Then, you can try one or two pieces. If you don't like it, there's other stuff for you to eat. If you do like it, you can order it next time! That's how I learned about a lot of Chinese food, trying different ones in buffets.

By the way, it depends on the restaurant whether or not it's good. At some places, it's awesome - at others it's kind of gross.

Enjoy!

When it comes to chinese food I always feel it is better not to know. But really, I think every restaurant makes it differently, or at least a bit different. It is chicken, peppers, peanuts, and it's hallmark is it's spicy sauce. It is the 50th anniversary of this dish, it was invented in Tawain after the fall of China. It's supposed to be Hunan style, but wasn't known in Hunan until the 1980's. Think it was invented by Chiang Kai-Shek's chef who invented it.
General Tsao was a 19th century hero in Hunan.
