Well, it would be one big disappointment right after another...which is one of the descriptions of reality when you really think about it....♫

Odds are, I'd be dead. In my nightmares I've been shot (one of my first ones involved me getting my brains blown out, in ultra-slo-mo detail), stabbed, eaten alive by zombies (valley-girl speaking zombies at that), thrown off of buildings in various states of construction and decay, ran over by cars, in car wrecks, burnt alive (both conventionally and by way of nuclear holocaust), and finally....

I've had *midgets* wearing Saddam Hussein masks stab me repeatedly in my *eyes* with acid-filled hypodermic needles. Not that *that* was what killed me in that dream, what killed me was the alien-chest-burster thing coming out of the seven-foot tall Irish Rastafarian who had been chasing me....

Did I mention I have exceedingly strange, messed up, *vivid* dreams? ^_^

But....assuming I wasn't dead. Chances are we'd either be living in a police state with "Scanners" type telepaths, or there would be some sort of apocalyptic, "end of the world" thing going on.

And since you just asked about *nightmares*, I will stop with that. ^_^ No sense getting into the *really weird* but cooler stuff.

well, my nightmares are usually not big scary monsters, but of things that are on my mind and worrying me, such as school things. i dream about them happening wrong. also, i'm not the biggest optimist, so i usually imagine those bad things happening anyway, so if they became reality, it would be just like i imagined and expected...

Michael Meyers appears in some of my dreams from time to time, sometimes I dream of someone I know and love hurting me in ways they would never really do in real life. so I'd be stalked by Mikey every Halloween and I'd be back stabbed on a daily basis. Niiiice. Just playing.

Last night I had a tame nightmare where i hung out with John Ritter all night. Then when I remembered he was dead, he turned into a zombie. I had been hugging him and suddenly his dead arms wouldn't let me go. He started decomposing and was just staring at me....
