"What could your lawyer suggest to make sure you are convicted of murder? How about going with the insanity defense?"

Now that will hook their attention.

After laughing at the dinner table one day, my mother dragged me by the hair to the basement, where she relentlessly beat me with her sheb-sheb until her hands got too tired. A week later, my father, enraged at me for playing Eminem songs at a disturbingly loud volume, threw me down the stairs and locked me in the "forbidden room" for a fortnight. Some may look at this psychotic behavior as child abuse, but that is not the case. Would my parents have been driven to punish me if I had not laughed at them...or played angry music at an unacceptable volume as to carry that angry-white-boy vibe to my middle-eastern Muslim father? No...they would not. According to the insanity plea, my parents could be justified in their actions because at the time that their behavior was carried out, they were "insanely" angry. However, this is pure bullsh*t, and this is why.

What do you think??? *slap!*

The insanity defense must not be allowed to be applied in our courts, or the result will be courtrooms full of insane people, jails empty of convicts, and our streets full of "innocent" murderers.

If people convicted of murder are declared insane, why are these same people allowed to continue living life without consequence? If they are declared insane, why would they not be kept in an asylum where they could not hurt more people?

Who can prove insanity? Why should a murderer be set free?
Then you can use some of your ideas to continue.
Hope this helps.

"Defense lawyers have only one standard: winning or losing. To win, they are shamelessly manipulating the mental health system, caring little that they are loosing evils back into our communities."

[Sorry, couldn't fit all those thoughts into one sentence. Maybe you can.] Good Luck...
