Is there a way to transfer ringtones to my nokia 6133 without a nokia cable? I've tried mobile17.com, but it makes my .amr file into MP3's or .EXT's. Help?

What the cable does is direct the computer to where the the Nokia ringtones are stored to transfer them to the phone in the proper format. You can not get around it. Just like I could not use your ringtones directly to my Sprint phone. It is not the ringtone but the program to transfer the ringtone to the telephone in a format accepted by that phone.

Now that phone has a slot for a mini SD memory card. You get a USB card reader, plug it in your computer, then you treat your card like a drive. Then you could load your ringtones on the card then access them from your phone. If you do not know how to do that then just sit down and try . Too long to explain how to do it.
