Is it possible if i am running windows 2000 and my husband is running windows XP with a windows vista emulator pack that my computer(windows2000) could experience problems with some of my software because our computers are networked?????

No, because your computers are only networked together by the internet and not directly from PC into PC (as a direct connect where you access the PC)

No harm caused by your husband's emulator will affect your computer. In other words, what happens to him in his vista, won't be a problem for you.

No, the two computers run seperatly except for network file sharing and internet. Nothing on your husbands computer can effect yours unless you are using files off of his computer.

Not really if they were networked correctly they should be fine. The only issue I could see you having is that if he can access your full HD it might slow your accessing of the same files he is trying to retrieve.

No it is not possible. If you are running a peer to peer network (no server) each operates its own software independently

Vista is a whooole different system. I really dont know for sure..Seriusly doubt it
