It seems to me in today's society that we only talk about the issues between blacks and whites. What about the hatred between native americans and white people. They had the first racial war in America. Oh yeah, maybe its because white people nearly annihilated them!!

have you been believing the media again?
in any story there must be conflict or else it becomes a childs fairy tale.
there is over 700 years of slavery recorded in the bible in which the children of abraham were held captive and forced to work. when they were released from egypt they griped and moaned about leaving instead of trusting in the one who had delivered them.
the media thinks it is funny to get a strong race to whine. they will even make up stories if they have to so that a particular race looks weak by complaining about this and complaining about that.
we as a nation need to forget about color lines and get back to what/who made this country strong.
hint: it wasn't the white man who ran the farms, it wasn't the black man who did most of the labor that started the farming industry, it wasn't the red man who helped establish the white man when he first arrived, it wasn't the asian who did much of the labor to rail the u.s. it's not the hispanic that keeps our farming industry going today.
it's the Father of all these races.
and then we need to help our elected president to help defend our country from all enemies both foreign and domestic. and yes i mean people who try to pit one race against another simply because of the color of their skin without any knowledge of their personal beliefs.
and then and only then we will be able to lower the divorce rate because more people will know what true love is and they will not enter into a marriage lightly. there will be fewer children running the streets and using drugs because their is only one parent at home. and the crime rate will drop.

Here in canada racism against natives is an issue, we don't really have issues with black people, probably because we never participated in the whole slavery bit, but it is also possibly because natives were segregated onto separate lands whereas black people were immediately "integrated" into the (often hating)white population, therefore, the native's problems were more hidden than those of the blacks, and black people are forced to endure the abuse every day, natives can avoid white people more.
Please don't take this answer to mean I agree with any of what was done to either culture, merely speculating on the possibilities.
Whenever I come on answers I am horrified by the racism and homophobia, especially the people who claim not to be that way and then go on to prove otherwise.

Hey now...that kind of talk doesn't help to change things... I do wonder sometimes though what others must think of the focus only being on black and white... Whites are not ALL bad, just history has some really rotten people with too much money, power, and greed...and sadly some still exist...

It is pretty stupid that you act like whites are racist against everybody yet i hate people for their personality not race.I would rather be nice to a kind poor black man then a rich snobby white man. I also think no race is more Superior than the other. All races have killers and rapists.

So are you ranting or asking a question? What is the question? The 'white man' is not superior or inferior to any other race. I hope that most of us reading this know that fact. Geeks on Answers usually do. So if you want to preach you should find a more approriate pulpit.

Man there is nothing RACIAL.... but matter is of "superiority" even among brothers and sisters there is RACE OF SUPERIORITY..... People know that no one is superior by color only but they do not want to see anyone equal to them.... in other words.... HUMANS LIKES TO BE SEEN BY OTHERS AS god....
