In Firefox, chose Tools > Clear Private Data and check all that you want deleted (usually the default items they have checked).

In IE I can't recall at the moment because I'm on a Mac.

If you want an all around cleaner for your computer (assuming it's Windows/PC) get CCleaner from ccleaner.com. It's a very good program that is free.

Go to your computer's "Control Panel"... then internet options.. there you can delete your history (webpages visited).. delete any temporary file and delete your cookies. and you should be set!
