I have read reviews on certain cars and I just don't get what they mean by wind noise

It's just the noise the wind makes when it hits something on your vehicle that impedes its natural flow. Like the crack between the door and car frame. Lower your window about an inch when you are going 50 mph and it creates a wind noise.

Wind noise can be anything from a noise caused by a bad window or door weather strip to noise created by wind flowing over an item on the exterior of a car or truck. Some vehicles are more prone to wind noise because of the way the body is configured such as exterior components that cause air turbulence as wind passes over them.That is probably what the review that you read is referring to.

Wwell the best way to explain it is do this, open your window just a little. Not eneff to see it is open but just a small crack. Now rive at say 60 and the wind will wissle through that crack. That is wind noise
