I THINK THAT PEOPLE SHOULD STOP BEING AFRAID OF SNAKES, SPIDERS, HEIGHTS, PUBLIC SPEAKING, DOGS, etc. BECAUSE THAT DAMN SNUGGLES BEAR IS THE WEIRDEST, CREEPIEST THING. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS, BUT THOSE SNUGGLES FABRIC SOFTENER COMMERCIALS JUST SENG CHILLS UP MY SPINE. AM I CRAZY OR IS THERE SOMEONE ELSE WHO THINKS THAT SNUGGLES IS CREEPY? ANY AND ALL OPINIONS ACCEPTED.

It really freaks me out when it moves!
It moves in this really weird, robotic way and it's freaky!
I can just imagine it laying on some fresh laundrey and waving it's weird paw.

I hate any of those cutesy-pie things like the snuggles bear, the pillsbury dough-boy, talking animals in ads, talking babies, cutsey ads where the woman pretends to feed a man and pulls the fork away at the last second, men in bed whining because they are sick and waking up their wife to go get them cold medicine, oh--

THOSE KIDS IN THE WELCH'S COMMERCIALS ARE THE MOST EVIL OF ALL! Just too cute, cutsey, nauseatingly cutesy. Puke.

LOL. Commercials in general grate on my last nerves, and I suppose you're onto something as far as his trying to be so cute it's nauseating character, but your reaction to him is so visceral... I don't know if I'd go so far as to say that he creeps me out. I do however enjoy commercials that are *deliberately* creepy, such as those old Dunkin' Donuts ones wherein someone is drinking DD coffee in an elevator, and you hear what you assume is an off-camera spokesman describing how great its taste and aroma is, until the camera reveals that it's in fact some other guy in the elevator saying it.

P.S. This is off-topic as well but someone mentioned the Pillsbury Doughboy, and that reminds me of some stand-up comic who expressed his desire to toss him in an oven and sadistically ignore his "Let me out, it's hot in here!" cries. What does it say about me that I find that amusing...

LOL! They ought to make a horror movie with him as the star! His eyes seem kinda red to me, I would have nightmares if he was in my room at night, waking up and seeing him staring at me!lol

It's even creepier when your siblings can sing the jingle that goes along with it.

I used to like him when I was a kid. He doesn't really bother me one way or the other now.
