A fantasy habit? You mean you have fantasies on a regular basis? You are afraid if this is a sign that you are "not right" in your mind?

Well, I have fantasies all the time. But I know my fantasies are a sign I am a healthy creative human being. I like to make up stories and write them down. Someday I hope to be paid for doing it. I know this is healthy for me because I still function quite well in my life. I get up every morning and go to work and support two teen-aged boys and keep a house running fairly well.

If your fantasies get in the way of functioning well in your life, then you are right to be concerned. But if you just have a rich fantasy life, and you know the difference between fantasy and reality, you are just fine.

If you still are worried about this, it would not hurt for you to talk with a counselor.

I don't get it...you have a habit of fantasizing? That's not a bad thing unless your fantasy becomes more real than your real life and keeps you from being all that you were created to be. Avoid extremes and be whole.

fantasy is a really healthy defense mechanism. it helps you compensate for the reality you don't like. it keeps you healthy and happy.

IT CAN CAUSE YOU TO BE UNFOCUS WHEN YOU ARE DOING A NORMAL AND EVERYDAY TASK. I THINK YOU SHOULD TRY TO BREAK THIS HABIT. I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, BECAUSE I DO THE SAME THING.
