All I remember is a time traveler who picks up a kid from his bedroom, and the pocket watch serves as the thing that allows them to time travel but it doesn't work quit right - they never quite went where they thought they were going. I don't know how many seasons it was on for, not many. But in the series finale the time traveler finally got the kid back to his bed room.
Does anyone remember this show? If, so, what was it called?

No, its not Quantum Leap. Think EARLY 80s.... like 81, 82ish maybe?

Voyagers I meant. The guy in it was in cover up and accidently killed himself on the set messing around with Russian Roulette

Sounds a lot like Quantum Leap, except it was Scott Backula as the man who had to jump time. He jumps into other peoples times. Like takes over for them until the situation is fixed, then he jumps again.

i was gonna say 'time bandits' but i think that's a movie. i think the one's who put 'voyagers' is are correct.
