I get mad at everything. It could be from my parents, to school, to even video games. Just everything. It just all builds up and I suck at holding it all in. When and if I do, yeah I realize it goes away, but I always break stuff or punch things. What can i do to stop it. (besides seeing some dumbass therapist.

Anger is this overwhelming emotion, and it really is hard to control. I've lost myself in anger sometimes-those times, all I really saw was red. Right now, I have a few methods which helped, and still helps me take charge of these emotions. I really do hope these help you as well.

1.) Have a Pen and Paper in your pocket all the time. When you're angry, get it out and just scribble--or even stab the paper if you want. It helps. Then, put it in an envelope with a date on it. Place it in a hidden place--you'll never know, 5 years from that day, you'd find it again and just laugh at yourself for being mad at something resolvable.

2.) A stress ball. Especially those shaped like bombs-they help.

3.) Clench your fists as tight as you can--and run away. Do not hurt anyone.

4.) Scream into a pillow--and I mean SCREAM. It releases all that tension inside.

Here's a very different way of handling anger for you to practice...

What if -- when you begin to experience angry thoughts -- you take a moment to VISUALIZE the anger being offered or handed to you by someone. Like if some stranger was handing you a bag of stinky garbage. You wouldn't accept it, right? Understand that irrational "anger" is just a feeling that is coming to us from the OUTSIDE (like a hypnotism) not from the inside. Then you can reject it. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO EXPERIENCE IT. Your natural state is freedom and balance. Anything else is just lies and garbage from the world.

Sounds strange, but its true. Anger is NOT coming from inside you. So you don't have to try to bottle it in. It's ACTUALLY coming from the outside as a thought suggestion. When you feel anger coming on, just refuse the garbage. Put that feeling in the trash can, and know that you can't be hypnotised. You CAN live a happy and balanced life. This is your natural state.

of the ideas above i think martial arts makes the most sense.

If you hold emotions in they burst out. To stop them from controlling you you have to use them. Let anger give you the power to achieve what you want to achieve. Let it make you a force for change.

Anger can be transformed into determination and strength, it will never become meek and mild.

Try to relax. Do things you enjoy. When you are upset go for a walk instead of breaking things.

Run...!!!! As fast as you can.. as far as you can.. Then walk back home and have a hot shower & listen to some tunes..
