They use god and the sheep mentality that is created by fundamentalism to exploit people for votes and support. The republican need a core group who will not question anything they do, because much of what they do cannot stand up to legitimate questions. They need a flock of sheep who will approve of everything they say and do without a second, or first, thought

Why is it everybody thinks that it is only the Republicans that are Christains?? I am a conservative Republican and a Christian but I know that there are Democratic and Independant Christians as well as no party Christians. You do know God isn't a Republican or a Democrat, just the Author of both.

So if god didn't actually exist then they would be talking to themselves and infact probably locked up. So, for the past 6 years we have been lead by someone who actually is a schizo, GREAT

Everyone does. Same with the fore-fathers. Everyone quotes what one said at one time and claims it speaks for all political views that they like.

I think we should stop quoting Jesus and the bible and the fore-fathers.

Their god is created in their own image. A hierarchical, authoritarian god who needs to feel needed.
