sooo as i've been watching college basketball (cause that's basically what i do all day :]) i have came to a conclusion that there isn't one really really really good time this year. don't get me wrong, a lot of teams are good but like there isn't just ONE that is like "it". im from wisconsin and i am a huuuuuuge wisconsin fan! and i think they are like wonderful but they aren't really that good. i mean i think they are a little overrated (but im not gonna complain cause, ya know. i love them :]) but usually there's just one team that is amaznig and i haven't seen that at all this year...

anyone else agree with me? why or why not? :]

oh and if you think you know who the "it" team is... tell mee :]

An interesting question- while there is no "it" team like UConn was last year before the George Mason loss or Illinois in 2005, there are five or six teams who are better than everyone else- Florida, Ohio State, Wisconsin, UCLA, North Carolina, and Kansas, and then everyone else. I think a Texas A&M, Georgetown, or Pittsburgh(if healthy) can crack that six pack, but right now I'd be shocked if someone came out of nowhere ti win the title.

I agree. This is the first year I can remember that there is one team that is just heads and shoulders above the rest. I think that anyone within the top 6 seeds could win the NCAA tournament. If I had to pick a #1 team though I would pick North Carolina.

There wasn't really an "it" team last year. It seemed that way after the fact but, before the tournament started Florida wasn't considered a top contender. They were, I believe, a #3 seed. I anticipate that they will wake up at tournament time again this year. It's the same team after all, and they have less losses, more wins than they did at this point last year.

true there is no standout #1 team. florida is slipping and the buckeye-badger showdown tomorrow should say a lot. right now, north carolina and texas a@m are playing very well. but until someone can beat florida on a neutral floor, im goin with the gators.

I have Noticed that Mmephis is been on fire lately. Picking up where Florida stopped with their winning streak and another "it" team would probably be Air Force. THEY HAVE ALL OF A SUDDEN BECAME GOOD.
