Planning new and greater attacks on USA and Europe.

I take it that you are considering that if we were not in Iraq then we would be doing nothing (GWB paradigm). We would probably be an easy target.
But lets think outside the box Bush built for us. lets say we never invaded Iraq but rather attacked the training camps in Saudi Arabia where the 9/11 terrorists were trained (keeping in mind that 15 of those terrorists were Saudi), made a military presence in Iran and Yemen (remembering that 3 of those 9/11 killers were from Iran and one came from Yemen). what if we cooperated with the UN and froze the assists of they that funded that attack, (rich people hate being without money)? considering that path I doubt they would be singing the star spangled banner either. What would the terrorists be doing now if GWB successfully turned control of our ports over to the Saudis?

What terrorists? The insurgents in Iraq? They would still be in the Baath party or members of the Iraqi military. The foreign fighters in Iraq? Their presence is overestimated, and they signed up to go to Iraq because of the invasion. If we hadn't invaded they would probably be back in their home countries, they wouldn't be USA lovers, but they wouldn't be planning anything either.
As for the real terrorists, maybe they would be in Guantanamo instead of reforming the Taliban. If we hadn't gone into Iraq, we could have given Afghanistan the attention that it deserved.

Well if we were not in Iraq, maybe WE would have found Osama by now and most of them, instead he is still free and more terrorists are being created every moment.

Remeber it was a very long time between attacks before, no credit to Jr. and Co.

Same thing they are doing now. The terrorists from 9-11 were tracked to Afghanistan, not Iraq.

If we didn't go into Iraq in the first place (Bush that idiot), then the terrorists around would be very few in number and not an issue.

Over three minutes and no answers! Good Job! (I'm NOT being sarcastic)

This shows that all people want to do is criticize, but when you ask a compelling question, they just move on to some other question and vent.

Yes the terrorists would still hate us, and they might even have had the resources to fight us right here in the U.S.!

they'd be fighting us in afghanistan. if we were not in afghanistan either, they'd probably be in the west bank bombing illegal zionist settlements. they attacked us on 9/11 for having military bases in saudi arabia, which we opened to support coalition forces in the first iraq war. in the last few years president bush has closed those bases.

unfortunately, the koran is explicit in its instruction to arab muslims to fight any foriegn troops on arab land. back in those days, there was no known good reason for 1 country's military to be in another country. if europeans were muslim conservatives, the french wouldn't have allowed us to land at normandy.

If we leave Iraq now, then the situation will get worse. If we never went into Iraq, then we would be in more danger and a brutal dictator would still be in control.

Probably doing their idiot dance at the gas pumps, while they jacked the prices up to $18 a gallon.

But that would make molotov cocktails easy & available.

Well, they wouldn't be in Iraq either.

Of course, since the root cause of islamic terrorism is US foreign policy, wherever, the US goes, islamic terrorism follows.
