Has anyone ever watched Lord of the Rings straight in a row? How long did it take you (depends on if the movie is extended or not)

I haven't watched them back-to-back, but if you did, the straight running times for the extended editions are 208 minutes (Fellowship of the Ring), 223 minutes (The Two Towers) and 251 minutes (The Return of the King), for a grand total of 682 minutes, or 11 hours and 22 minutes. That's without bathroom breaks or pausing to get snacks and meals, so it would probably take 12.5 to 13 hours with stops like that.

Yes, I've seen all three of em. It took pretty long. I think I sat straight for about 8 hours or something. They're long movies but it's good.

I couldn't watch one straight through. I had to break them up in halves.
