A foreign poet said:

"The red revolution has a door that is knocked but by every hand stained with blood"

the quote calmed me down. you have no idea what kind of mood i was in before. anyway, it seems to be talking about death. notice how it doesnt say anything about passing the door...

Okay. Let's take a look at it.
"The red revolution has a door that is knocked but by every hand stained with blood'.
The red revolution has a door...
The door is knocked on by hands...
The use of 'but' very subtly suggests that the hands that knock on it are not the ones that are stained with blood.
I would interpret the stanza in the following way - it is implying that the hands stained with blood are the hands of the enemies of the red revolution, rather than those who would knock at it's door.
So, the friends of the red revolution (the door knockers) are not the ones with blood on their hands.
How stirringly socialist!
I haven't had this much fun explaining poetry in ages.
Just in case I have got this completely wrong, I'll apologise now.

I don't exactly understand your question, but it sounds like revolution only opens the door of opportunity to those willing to shed others' blood. Not much of a recommendation for revolution if you ask me.
