This guy that I like just broke up with his girlfriend about 4 days ago, and lately he's been flirting with me. Just to let you know we're friends. You see on the same day they broke up, he told me he loved me. But I don't know if he was joking joking, or try to make me think he was joking and he was really serious. You see him and one of his friends was messing around with me in a good way. Then his friend told him to be nice then he said I love you. What do you think? By the way I think she broke up with him for another guy.

Definitely I think you should take it slow if you are friends and he is on the rebound. Even if he thinks he loves you, you want him to like you for you and not just because he is a little lonely now and adjusting to singleness.
