Why did Britney Spears decided to shave her head all of a sudden? Is it going to change her career?

it was probably a publicity stunt....but her career aswell as her reputation needs alot more work....she has been on a downward spin for sometime now

Some people, male or female, consider baldness beautiful. After all, the manner in which you have your hair done, is really in accordance with the culture you live in. Who knows, Britney may have a fetish for baldness. When the hair stylist refused to shave her head, she eagerly did it herself. Therefore, she may have thought about this previously, and it was not a sudden impulse.
This harmless gesture will not hurt her career.
On the contrary. Every newspaper, the internet, and television ran this silly incident many times. That was an incredible amount of free exposure which could actually make her more famous and help her career.

I think she shaved her head to prove how stupid people are. With everything going on in the world: AIDS Crisis in Africa, Ongoing Wars, Nuclear threat from North Korea and Iran, Fighting in the MIddle East, and the most important thing on people's minds is "Why did Britney Shave her Head". I bet she thought it would be funny, to see how obsessed people get with stupid things. "Who is the father of Anna Nicoles' Baby?", "Britney Left Rehab,....Again" This is seriously what people are worried about, that shows a great hope in the future of America. Well, the joke is on us.

Her career has gone south and she knows it. She is going through a rough stage in her life. She needs help and that's what the head shave and all her crazy antics have been about. The media needs to leave her alone and let her get her life together. It is really hard on anyone to go through divorce, let alone in the public eye. Everyone should put themselves in her shoes for a moment and realize she is just a young woman going through a very private time in the public eye.

She is starving for all the attention she used to get when she was a pop star. Now she's not popular for that reason, her self esteem is low. I think she did it for shock value. Yes, I do think all these things she's been doing lately has and will continue to effect her career. She's a mother of two, and right now she's still married. But she's acting like a spoiled brat. It's a total turn off for her fans. Hard for them to look up to someone like that.

hunni her career has been over since she got with that loser Kevin.
Britney is in rehab now. not exactly a good role model for young girls now is she? nope!
As for her shaved head- well she let everything else go so I'm not surprised. Hair can be hard to take proper care of and obviously she's not taking care of any part of her so she shaved it off so no one would notice her knots!

People should give her a break.... her husband divorces her tries to take custody and she has a serious drug & alcohol problem.....the paparazzi wont leave her alone and her life sucks!! i personally think her career is taking a break. She is probably gonna focus on her babies...And thats the best thing she should do

I think she shaved her head because she wanted to start a new life. When you are so stressed and dunno what to do anymore...because the person you trusted the most betrayed you...You would do something like her...
I think she has thought over all the things that happened to her life and learned her lesson. Hairs will grow over time so yeah...nothing to concern ^^ Hope this answer your question lol

She didn't want to be a blonde anymore. (Sounds good to me.) I don't think it is helping her any to no longer be blonde!
Her career options have changed from teen idol, music star/performer to 'Most Outrageous News Story and How to Avoid Rehab'.
