if someone asks a question..?

and they say "thanks" does that make a difference to your willingness of answering that question, rather than one that doesn't say thanks? in other words, do you like answering questions more with "thanks" at the end than with no thanks, or does it not make a diference to you? to me if someone says thanks, i feel my answer is being appreciated.

There's no accounting for people or their manners. But a thanks is always appreciated. Thanks for asking.

It doesn't make a difference to me. However, when I choose a best answer for one of my questions, I almost always thank them for their answer.

Yeah, it makes a difference cause it's true that you feel like your answer is more appreciated when that person who asked a question says `thanks. But if not, it's still okay though. At least you've given an opinion and who knows it might help even though he/she didn't give you a `thanks for that. Right? :)

I will answer with or without if I have an answer. However, a thanks is very polite and makes me more happier in reponding :-)

I agree with you. People sometimes forget though, so don't take it hard if you click a question with no thanks.
